Meditation Practices using
​That Bao Huyen Mon Method

 That Bao Huyen Mon Meditation Method practiced at Xa Loi Temple combines traditional breathing techniques and mindfulness with sacred mantras, aimed at healing the body, mind, and spirit. ​

These mantras are believed to unlock an inner transformative power, helping practitioners alleviate suffering and cultivate a deeper sense of peace.

​This approach integrates spiritual wisdom with practical meditation techniques, making it a unique and meaningful practice.

Each Thursday evening we gather to explore the deeper causes of suffering, peace, and transformation within our lives. Through Buddhist teachings, open discussion, and meditation practice, we learn to better understand the mind, our habits, and the interconnected nature of our experiences.
The evening begins with a short Dharma reflection, followed by group discussion and a guided mantra meditation to cultivate mindfulness, compassion, clarity, and inner calm.
Open to all — no previous meditation or Buddhist experience is needed.

​Saturday Morning 9:00 - 10:00 AM - Foundations of Meditation - 
Lead by Hanh-Su, Eileen Dolan
Join us Saturday mornings as we reflect on the timeless wisdom of the Dhammapada and explore how these teachings apply to our daily lives. Each class includes a short teaching followed by guided meditation, offering a space to slow down, gain insight, and cultivate inner peace.
Sunday Mornings: 8:30 - 9:00 AM - Meditation Practice 
Facilitated by Hanh Su, Eileen Dolan
This session is another opportunity to practice meditation in a community.  We use the Mantra's of That Bao Huyen Mon.  Immediately following our practice of silent meditation , we have an opportunity to participate in the English service of Prayers and Chanting.

Nathan Stang's journey started when he was recovering from an injury. He found breathwork and meditation and all the pieces started fallin together. ONce he found yoga it changed his life forever. He loves to Cue the breath, chant and meditate. Nathan will make you feel welcome and loved, and will raise your Vibration throughout the class. Nathan completed his 200 hour training through Sol Yoga. He continues to learn new ways to bring wellness to the community.

Gentle Flow Yoga  - A wonderful way to begin you weekend balancing your body with breath, gentle movement and meditation. This practice is held for every body as we reconnect with our inner peace.

Julie’s dedication to both yoga and Qi Gong ensures a holistic and harmonious approach to her classes, making them suitable for all levels of practitioners.
